There is open war in Moscow between the revolutionaries and the "Black Gang", of ruffians, organised 'by the Monarchists in tihe interests of the autocracy. 600 of the gang lay in wait for a procession returning from Baumann's funeral, killing twelve and.- wounding twenty. The authorities profess to be unable to control these loyalists.

The statement that the strike will be suspended for a month is not confirmed. It is expected -that the strike; committee will make an explanation on Monday, when details of the amnesty are made known.
