WESTMINSTER GLEE AND CONCERT PARTY.
The Australasian press are of the unanimous opinion that the present party of Glee Singers now on. tour are even better than, their predecessors. Speaking of the opening concert in Dunedin on October sth, the " Star" says:—ln regafrd to the quality of the entertainment itself the beet traditions of the English platfonm were upheld, besides which it is safe to look for a general endorsement of the opinion that on the whole this is a stronger company than the one previously introduced by Mr Braseombe, since the old members are in quite as good and perhaps better foron than, on the last trip, whilst the change in personnel all make for enhanced musical value. As for tihe boy who caane-to front as a soloist last night, Master Marjieana, he is undoubtedly gifted and clever. Master Marjicana has more than the average singing strength, his execution, is clean and flexible, he is reliable as to pitch, and he (has evidently studied intelligently. It is not too much to siay that 'he tops all his predecessors in Dunedin, and takes even a higher place than Cyril Tyler. The party will be heard at the Opera House on Tuesday and "Wednesday evenings. Botih the reserved- seat and day sale tickets may be bad at H. I. Jones and Son. The party appear at Marton on Monday next.
