WEST'S PICTURES AND THE BRESCIANS.
Tho Opara House was filled to overflowing last night on the occasion of the return visit" of West's Pictures and the Brescians. Where every item on a long programme is good, it is difficult to individualise. The pictures themselves must bo seen to be understood. West's pictures are as far an improvement on tho ordinary kinematograph as the kinematograph is on the old magio lantern. The Brescians in themselves givo a good, clean entertainment—instrumental and vocal music of a kind to appeal to every taste and humour, without coarseness and vulgarity. Tonight tha company will give an entire change of programme. A reference to our advertising columns will convey an idea of tho various items. Many inquiries and requests have been made for a repstition of the pictures already given, and tho management are doing their best to comply with the requests b-' putting on a selection from their best. In the afternoon a matinee is to ba given, at which the programme will be precisely the same as in the otening. Those who have not seen this charming and novel combination should r.ot miss the opportunity of doing so.
