HOCKEY.
The Wanganai Association met on Wednesday evening.^ Present—Mr A. Goldsbury (chairman), Messrs King, Strange, Wakely, Harris, Soler, Watkins, Gichiao-d, and Oliver (secretary). The/minutes of , the previous meeting were read and confirmed.
00NOERT.-/rhe Secretary reported that the £^nt concert would result in. a subsita-ntaal 'balance.—lt was decided ithat the.matter of another concert bo held over in the meantime.
CORRESPONDENCE.—A letter dealing with the Wanganui appeal case was received from the New Zealand Association; also >one from the player donoea'n- ■ cd.—On the motion of 'Mar Strange," seccaxded by Mr Wakely, it was decided that tihe Chairman and Secretary -write • ik> <the New Zealand Associate on in re-~ - ply to questions asked in their letter.; also to send a copy of the letter receiv^ (bed from the player concerned. It was proposed iby Mr Gichasfd, seconded by Mr Hariris, and carried: "That ■no memiber of the clubs who guaranteed an aimoumt towards the new ground be allowed to play unless his c^ub has contributed as much at least as one other' dub 'OT he himself has contributed his capitation.
