CORRESPONDENCE.

THE TOWN BRIDGE LIGHT

To the Editor

Sir,—May I through your columns direct the attention of the Corporation gas department to the light placed in tho centre of the footway over the town bridge? The light is so placed that one-half th-a bridge is in darkness and the other half is in a bright light, which makes it difficult to see any traffio which may be. meeting or preceding one. I myself ride a bicycle," as do many others who use the .bridge, and I am convinced that, owing to that blinding light, someone will meet with a nasty accident. Should it be my own. fate, I shall certainly seek advico as to recovering damages. Raw*? ing or lowering the light would correct tho trouble. Better no light on the main way than the one now there. Thamking you in anticipation.—-I am, etc., GAS.
