A'litfnough. the weather >wias most unpitopitious, a 'large number attended at the School Room, upwards of twenty 'ladies amongst them, to hear Mr Williams. The chair was taken by M/r J. Barnes, who briefly introduced Mr WiliMams, who addressed tlhean on the lines of his circular, and was occasionally greeted with applause. The candidate was given a very hearty vote of tttianks for ihos addreeß, and the usual vote to tlhe chaix termiinated a very succaseful meeting.

Mr. W. G. Bassett will address th« electors of Castlecliff this evening.
