BRUTAL COSSACKS.

ST. PETERSBURG. October 31. Altihiough Odessa is slightly quieter, the Cossacks continue to brutally, Vltreat peaceful residents and to pillage their homes. They have beaten some to dea/tth, and drag women and children to prison, subjecting them t>o shocking treatment.
They frequently also fire upon the funeral processions of their own victims, and also up_o<n tlhe Red Cross detachments.
