Gartons 2s sd, B grade 2s 4d, Danish 2s 3id, Duns 2s sd; wheat (whole fowl) 3s 2d to 3s 3d. Maize is in short supply, nominally, 3s 4d ex wharf. Potatoes (southern) £13 ex wharf. Chaff (southern) £4 17s 6d c.i.f. Bran 80s. Pollard, 90s. Onions ('Frisco) 20s, to arrive 18s, market bare. Bacon 6|d, rolls 7Jd; bams, 7£d; cheese (factory mediums) 6d to 6£d; farmers 5d to oid; butter (factory lOjd to lid.; best separator, 9d to 9id; inferior, 7^d to 8d; eggs, 9d; lard (bulk) 6d, tinned 6|d.
