•CHRISTCHURCH, October 2.7. The first cost of the intended consumption sanatorium has been estimated by the architect as £15,000, including main buildings and administration department, with two wards with five beds .each £8000, and shelters for 50 patients at £20 each, £1000. A subsidy of 24s per £1 is promised (by the Government. It ds proposed to provide 60 beds for cases of consumption that can be curtd or benefited by. sanatorium treatment.
