BUILDERS' CONFERENCE.

TIMARU, October 26. Delegates representing about 800 of tho builders in the colony, and who are holding their annual meeting hetre, have during the last two days been engaged in conference witih delegates from th*> recently formed •Institute of Architects practising in New Zealand, the principal] ..'business being th© considerations of new conditions of contract. The result is that new conditions of contract have been agreed to by both sides, and these will be brought into us© not later than December let next. This means that the deadlock between .the architects and the builders is now a.t an eaid, and a very 'large amount of building work that has been delayed for some time will be immediately available. The next annual builders' conference will be held in Wan gam vi.
