MELBOURNE, October 26
At a- special general meeting of the Colonial Mutual Life Society the report dealing with tho quinquennial investigation was adopted. The investigation discloses a surplus of £261,541, of which £211,540 is left for appropriation and division. A policy strengthening the financial position of the Society has been steadily pursuod.
