TIMARU, October 25. The Agricultural and Pastoral Association's ..Show opened to-day in dull and threatening weather. The entries constitute ta record, totalling 904, and being 52 in excess of those of last year. Since the last Show the Association has spent £800 on the ground,and buildings, and as a result of the gpiangeinents for this year's Show are more' complete than ever before, and thoroughly satisfactory in every way. The judging of the sheep and horses is preceding to-ctay. Given fine weather for the principal day tomorrow, a record attendance is anticipated.
