GISBORNE, October 25. Although heavy rain fell in the morning, the Show came off well to-day, there being a large attendance. The show of fat cattle and light hackneys was considered to be as good as has been shown anywhere in the colony. The challenge cups were.. won by E. Murphy (fat cattle and fat and W. Jobson (for fat lambs). Miss Trax, Busby, and Marion won the championships for hacks.
