MEETING OF MR. W. G. BASSETT'S COMMITTEE.
A .-,. wall-attended and . enthusiastic meeting of Mr. W. G. Bassett's election committeo was held last evening, Mr. David McFarlane (chairman) presiding. Very encouraging reports as to the candidate's prospects were handed in, and a considerable .amount of business appertaining to campaign organisation was transacted.- The committee arranged to meet every Tuesday e\iening. To-night Mr; Bassett speaks iv the Opera House. .
