CHRISTCHURCH, October 23. The statement for the 25th week of the New Zealand Utility Poultry Club's egg-laying competition at Lincoln College shows that 944 eggs were kid durin gthe week, an average of 24.8 pcl1 pen. The grand total to date is 15,350, an average of 548.2 per pen. The following stand highest for the week:—J. Mann (White Wyandottes) 34, W. B. Cowlishaw (Black Orpingtons) 33, Bisham Poultry Farm (Buff Orpingtons) 33, A. TyfSe (Black Orpingtons) 33, G. Rollinson (Black Orpingtons) 33. The best totals to date are:—H. Hawke (Silver Wyandottes) 687, J. Mann (White Wyandottes) 586, A. M. Price (Buff Orpingtons) 538, J. H. Shaw (Brown Leghorns) 527, R. E. M. Evans (Silver Wyandottes) 524.
