The French municipal representatives have returned to Paris surprised and delighted with the cordiality of the reception given them in England, which was such that even some of the Anglophobes among their number became enthusiastically friendly. Received October 23, 8.3 Ba.m. PARIS, October 22. Great indignation is expressed _in France at German newspapers asking what France's attitude will, be in the event of an Anglo-German war. French newspapers are remarkably unanimous in their resolve to strengthen the entente with Britain.
