FREEMAN R. JACKSON AND CO.'S STOCK REPORT.

At our horse sale on Saturday, 14th, we had an entry of over 100 horses, on the whole of fair quality. Few outside buyers were present owing to other sales, but we quitted a large portion of the entry. ; At our Wanganui sale on Wednesday, 18th, we yarded a small entry of cattle and several pens of sheep. Fats sold well. An entx-y of about 130 pigs proved rather many for requirements At Waverley Yards on Friday, 20th, we had a full yardiing of cattle and several pens of sheep. A line of 2-tooth bush ewes with 70 per cent, lambs made 23s Id. We succeeded in quitting practically tihe whole yarding at satisfactory price* The land of Keating's estate realised £1 0e 3d per acre rent. We quote:—

At Horse Sale.—Medium draughts, £32 to £33, half draughts £18 to £25, unbroken half draughts £13 to £16, best hacks £9 10s to £12, other £6 to £8, br g Stampede £10 15s, br g Hauriri £10 10s.

At Wanganui Sale.—Heavy fat" cows £6 12s to £7 ss, lighter do £5 14s, medium fat bullocks £7 17s 6d to £8 5s springing heifers £4 to £4 2s 6d springing cows £4 15s to £5 2s 6d, 15----month cattle 275, weaners 17s to 22.s 6d, cows in calf £2 §s. Sheep.—Prime fat ewes 25s 2d, medium do 225, medium fat wethers 255, aged ewes and lambs 16s lOd, cull wethers 14s Id. Pigs.— Best pork 27s 6d to 30s, medium 21s to 245, light do 17 to 19, stores (good) 13s to 15s, weaner pigs 7s to Bs. At Wavorley.—Fat cows (good) £5 11s to £5 19s, medium do £5 6s, fat and forward iheifeirs £3 IQs, forward cows £3, 2-year heifers-£2 10s, poor do £2, 18-montih to 2-year steers £2 ss, 3 and 4-yeaa- steers £4 13s, well-bred cows with calves £3 Is to £3 2s 6d, springing heifers £4 15s, well-bred Shorthorn bulls £7 7s 6d to £7 12s 6d, ewes with 70 per cent, lambs 23s Id, medium hoggets 15s 2d.
