CAULFELD CUP WON BY MARVEL LOCH.

There was fine weather and a large attendance for the concluding day's races.

Oby Hurdles.—-Betrayer 1, Matong 2, Destroyer 3. Six starters. Even money on Betrayer. Won by two lengths. Time 5 mm. lO£ sec. Gwyn Nursery-—Solaire 1, Lady Evelyn 2, Orleans 3. Twenty-three started. Betting—6 to 1 Solaire, who won after a good finish by a head. Time, ssi sec. Gaulfield Cup.—'Marvel Loch 1, Warroo 2, Torah 3. All started but Dandalla. Betting—4 to 1 Torah, 5 to 1 Boabdil, 10 to 1 Maniapoto and Marvel Loch. Shortly after the start the most prominent 'horses were Troytown, Hatteras, Maniapoto and Torah, and at the back these -were joined by Elvo •and Harmony. At the railway side Hammony was in ■command, but Marvel Loch, Warroo ,and Scot Free were moving up smartly. Scot Free a little later on fell. Marvel Loch led into the •straight, and, coming away full of running, won by two lengths from Warroo, who defeated Torah by four lengths from Warroo, who defeated Torah by four lengths. Emir was fourth. Time, 2 mm. 35$ sec. Wyuna Steeplecha.9&. —Sweeper 1, Error 2, General 3. Six others ran. Betting—7 to 4 against Sweeper, who won easily. Time, 4 mm. 494 secWindsor Handicap.—Royoroft 1, Japhet 2, Kadr 3. Six others ran. Betting—Even money Japhet, 6 to 1 Roycrort. A great finish. Won on the post. Time, 1 mm. 15£ sec. Moora Welter.—Circuit 1, Dandalla 2, Pendower 3. Nineteen others started. Betting—4 to 1 Circuit. Won after a good race by half a length. Time, 1 mm. 45 sec.
