NEXT THURSDAY'S CONCERT,

A great deal of interest is being manifested in the forthcoming concert. That the programme will be first class may be seen by <a glance, at the/names of the contributors. Miss Bassett; a lady well known in Wanganui musical oircles, will contribute songs in both the first and second porticos. Miss Sbrack, of the Girls' College, who created such a favourable impression at t>he Xiiedertafel concert, will also contribute'tire items. Mr Hardwicke, who delighted the large audiences -fihat attended " My Sweetheart," will again delight 'his, hearers. Mr Nevernifin, tihe popular baes, is always welcome, and needs no comment. Messrs Strange and Evans will make their fitrst .appearance .as soloists. Mr Evans is » new arrival an Wanganui, and (is a (sparkling humourist. Mr Swan, the well-kmown elocutionist, will contribute a 'musical monologue, Messrs Were, Moßeth, HarCherly, and Swan will render two qua<rtettes. The newlyformed Banjo, Mandoline, arid Guitar Band, whidn 'is an excellent organisation, will make their first appearance. With such an excellent programme the Hall should be crowded on Thursday night. The full programme will be published on Wednesday.
