The Workers Dwellings Bill was recommitted. The House resumed at 7.-30 p.m. The Workers' Dwellings Bill was put through its final stages . Amendments in the Maori Land Settlements Bill were brought down by Governor's mesage, givinsg the Government the right to acquire native lands for sett'ement purposes where the owners of the greater portion of the area were willing to sell.
