CONCERT IN ST. PAUL'S HALL.
It i« now six years since- hockey was inaugurated in Wanganui,. and we all remember the good old fights which used to take place then. Hockey has grown since then, and to-day there are nino teams, with, upwards of one hundred players. iNow the Wangan'ii Hockey Association, with characteristic energy, have decided to have & fine new ground prepared on the Racecourse. Co raise funds, an addition to subscriptions, the Association has decided to hold a grand ■concert in St. Paul's H-all next Thursday. The programme will be of a lidgh - lorder. Particulars will be announced 'Cm Saturday. Tickets are now on sale. Prices 2s and Is.
