The colony of New Zealand, being essentially a producing country, offers a splendid outlet for the manufactures of other countries which pay more attention to the development of manufacturing industries, and whose industrial conditions and facilities are batter adapted to the promotion and development of manufacturing." Passages are quoted from the prospect us, to which the " Review " " gkdly gives publicity in view of the progressive spirit shown by our New Zealand friends." A district order dssu«d on Monday notifies officers commanding units and corps of the garrison that it is the intenbion of the officer commanding the district to hold a general parade on December 16, 1905, on tl;e occasion of the laying cf the foundation stone of the Exhibition.
