SYDNEY, October 17. A representative meeting in the Town Hall inaugurated a National Defence League, and adopted a resolution urging the Federal 'Parliament to take immediate steps ito adopt universal compulsory training for purposes of national defence.
The speakers included Mr Watson and other -prominent Labourites.
