CRICKET.
As the Cricket Association meets on Wednesday night to allot teams, all Thursday players are requested to hand in their names to Mr. Sykes, at Jones and Ashdown's, before Wednesday afternoon. As cricket is being,"placed on a sound footing this year, and some fina new wickets have just been completed in Cook's Gardens, there should be a large number oi players this year. There will be a practice on Cook's Gardens on Thursday at 2.30 sharp.
