MELBOURNE, November 27. The hearing of the case wherein Mme. Slapoffski, operatic artist, seeks to recover £905 from George Musgrove, for work urißer theatrical engagements, has commenced. Defendant paid £269 into ICourt in satisfaction 'of the claim, and: counter claims £4081 as damages, including a loss on. tihe New Zealand season of £2000 actually sustained and £1500 anticipated profits.
