(Eeceived Nov. 3, 9.55 p.m.) The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company's wool sales which have been suspended on account , of the races were resumed to-day, when a fairly representative catalogue comprising about 1800 bales was presented. The attendance of home and foreign buyers was again large ; the biddings were animated, and opening prices fully maintained. The bulk of the lots offered sold at very satisfactory prices, high reserves on some of the larger lots alone preventing a complete clearance. ' The excellent prices realised at previous sales were fully maintained, and the opening advance completely established. SYDNEY. November 3. New Zealand wheat has declined 4d per bushel during the week, and is now worth 4s Sd. New Zealand oats remain at 3s 6d. Maize has fallen to 4s 9d. Government proposes to raise the salaries of judges by four hundred pounds per annum.
