Any jockey riding except in colours entered will be fined 3 soys. When two or more horses start, the property of the same owner, a distinguishing colour must be worn. In all weight-for-age races the new weight-for-age scale will be adhered to. All persons intending to withdraw horses are required to' give notice to that effect to the Secretary or Clerk of the Scales one half - hour before starting. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this rule shall pay a fine of 5 soys to the race funa. All races to be run under the W.J.C. ■Rules. Horses walking over will only receive half the stakes. Qualification fee for non-members, 1 soy, In all races the second horse only saves his stake when it is especially stated that he does so.
