„ „ . May 10. Mr Service, Premier, formally opened the new Exchange to-day ; one thousand persons were present. The Irish Relief Fund in. Viotoria is now closed ; total subscriptions amounted to £31,072. The Meat Company formed in England, and announced in yesterday's telegrams, has been promoted by Messrs Mcllwraith, Maccashern & Co., of London. Messrs W. b!oan & Co. are appointed agents in Melbourne and Sydney.
