Mr Service, the Premier, has telegraphed to the Imperial GtoveriimenD to enquire whether there was anyone named Webster on board the Kuowsley LI all. The reply, it is thought, will give conclusive evidence as to the truth of the letter found in the bottle at Portland. Obituary — Moses Reuter, chief of the Hebrews in Melbourne. Six sailors aboard the barque Twee Vriembrer, from Java, have died of a serious fever which is raging in the ship.
