Captain Bonnor, of the steamer Ttii, had his certificate suspended for six months and was ordered to pay costs. The charge of drunkenness was not proved, but gross misconduct in taking the Mauawatu bar when signalled not to do so, and for steaming round the Napier and thus causing the collision. Charles Grey, confectioner, who was arrested last night under the Fraudulent Debtors Act, was brought up this morning and remanded till Monday.
