Also, The Pure Bred Clydesdale Horse "LORD CL¥DE," BY the celebrated Clydesdale horse Lord Clyde, out of the firstclass mare Nelly, by the renowned champion Blackleg ; grandson Black Champion. Imported to Tasmania. G-rand dam, a magnificent Tasmanian mare, Fan. Loed Clyde is a dark dapple bay with black points, very muscular, with superior action, and exceedingly quiet tempered, stands 16f hands high, with great bone and muscle. He has been shown six times with the following results :— First prize as a yearling, at the Melbourne Exhibition, 1866 ; first prize at the Kyneton Exhibition same year ; second prize as a two-year-old, at the Grand National Exhibition, 1867; first prize at the Kyneton Show same year. At the Melton show, when two years old, he was awarded second prize in a competition with aged horses ; and first prize at the Kyneton Exhibition, 1868, when three years old, on which occasion, competent judges asserted that he was the best three-year-old in the yard. He is a sure foal getter, and it will be seen by his stock that he comes from the purest Clydesdale blood. His sire, Lord Clyde, was bred by Mr BrowD, of Munsgoe Mains, by Biggao ; and gained the second premium as a three-year-old, at the Highland and Agricultural Society's Show at Dumfries, in 1860 ; a £40 prize at Newton Stewart, in 1862, when fourteen horses competed, and carried off the East Canterbury Society's prize a Carlisle, 1863, from twelve competitors, many of which were prize horses. His celebrated grandsire, Blackleg, is admitted to have been the best ever imported into Victoria, and won more prizes than any other horse in the world. HARRISON. Sept 29 TO BREEDERS OF DRAUGHT STOCK. "CONINGSBY WIIL serve a limited number of mares in the Rangitikei aud Manawatu Districts during the present season. Coningsby is acknowledged to be the best bred imported s.re in the district, and his stock will compare favourably with that got by any other horse in the province. Coningsby will stand as follows : — On Monday, at Bulls and Lower Eangitikei; on Tuesday, at Mr Oakley's, Sandon ; on Wednesday, by the Cliff Line to Marton ; on Thursday, at the Upper Rangitikei and Fern Flats ; the remainder of the week at the owner's residence, Bulls.
