Thursday morning, proceeds to Waitotara, returning on Friday. PatNpE of Canteebtjey is a rich dark bay, rising 3 years old, by Scotch Jock. Scotch Jock, by Prince of Wales, who was sold in Victoria (after gaining several first prizes) for £800. Prince of Wales, by Coldrach, winner of 12 First-classprizes in "Victoria. Scotch Jock is half brother to the celebrated entire Grlenroy, now in Canterbury. The dam of Prince of Canterbury is by Wellington out of an imported Tasmanian Prize Mare. KAITOKE STUD FARM. The Pure Bred Clydesdale Entire Horse YOUNG THANE OF CLYDE, WILL travel during the present season through the Eangitikei and No 2 Line Districts, standing at the Kaitoke Stud Farm during a portion of each week. Young- Thane of Clyde is a beautiful, rich brown with black points, stands 17 hands high, has great bone and muscular power, with fine temper, is staunch and tractable in harness, and has proved himself a sure foal getter. Sire, Thane of Clyde, bred by Thomas Young, Esq, Renfrewshire, Scotland. Has a stain of blood direct from the justly celebrated Surprise and Wallace breeds, both of which splendid animals are veteran prize winners. Thane of Clyde, when two and three years old, took several first class prizes in Scotland; His dam was the celebrated mare Matchless, never beaten in her day. In New Zealand, Thane of Clyde has won many first prizes and gold medals. Young Thane of Clyde is a worthy scion of the old stock, and is acknowledged to be one of the most honest horses standing this season for many miles round. Also, The Entire Clydesdale Horse, " BREAD ALBANE : " ROUTE — Kai Iwi and Eangitikei Districts, and at the Stud Farm, Kaitoke. T)READALBANE is a bright bay, £) il7 hands high, of immense frame, and very symmetrical. Of tractable temper, a sure foal - getter, and thoroughly staunch. Beeadalbane can be confidently recommended to breeders. This valuable animal was bred by Mr Alexander Campbell, of North Taieri. His sire, Napoleon, was imported from Scotland by the late Mr J. Niinino, and was bred by Mr Macadam, Kirkintulloeh, near Glasgow. He took several prizes before leaving Scotland, and was never beaten in his class when shown in the colony. Beeadalbane's dam, Black Violet, by Black Champion, dam, imported, All prize winners. Also, The Powerful Coaching Entire, "DUNCAN GRAY." r pHIS fine animal is one of the 1 handsomest and most muscular sires of his class in the Province, and is very quiet, having been broken into the saddle by his owner. Duncan Geay will stand at the stables, at the farm, and will travel once a week so far as Turakina. All the above are genuine stock, and are well worth the attention of breeders.
