Forest Queen, from Wellington, early. r Mosquito, from Liverpool, early in Dec. ■ The s.s. / Wallabi, Captain Leys, from Greymouth. and Westport, arrived here on Saturday afternoon, making fast alongside the wharf at 6.30 p.m. She experienced fine ■weather across the Straits. Eeports sighting, on Saturday morning, two barques standing to the' -westward. The Wallabi will steam for Westport and Greymouth again this day, conveying a cargo of live stock. The steamers. Manawatu and Stormbird, for Wellington, and the Murray, for West Coast ports, took their departure hence on Saturday evening. The s.s. St. Kilda, Capt. Flowerday, left Westport at 6.30 on Friday night, arriving here yesterday. She will make her ' next trip to Onehuhga, leaving probably this evening. , — The schooner Waihopai, from Nelson, and the ketch Thames, from Manaroa, arrived on Saturday. The Patea traders, Tongariro and Clyde arrived: in port on Saturday.
