AUCKLAND? Oct. 28. R. J. Debney, a clerk in the General Government Waste Lands .office, was arrested to-day— on board the barque Adela, leaving for Newcastle— on a charge of embezzlement of a considerable sum. BULLS. (From our own Correspondent.) Oct. 29. John Read, a barber, was found dead in his bed here at .11.30 a.m. He must have been dead several hours when found.
