SATOR is six years old, in colour a rich chestnut, and has an exceptionally good constitution ; stands 16 hands 2 inches high, with great bone and substance. The Imported Clydesdale Stallion "LORD LORNE," (Limited to Eighty Mare,s" WILL staud at Turakina every Monday, at Bulls every Wednesday, and serve the remainder of the week at Cherry Farm, Marton. LORD LORNE was bred by J. Mitchell, Esq, Ballyminack, Campbeltown ; he is by Sir Garibaldi ; dam Jess, a pure-bred Clydesdale maro, who for three years in succession was distinguished as a First Prize taker at the Campbeltown Agricultural Society's Shows ; her dam also gained four First Prizes in succession as a BroodMare at the same Society's Shows Sir Garibaldi was awarded the premiuTi of £40 to serve in the Gaithouse of Keet District in 1856; in 1857, £30 for Carlisle; in 1858, £40 for Dumfermline; and he was afterwards sold to serve in the Campbeltown Agricultural Society's District. Sir Garibaldi is by Garibaldi, who gained the First Prize as a three-year-old at the Perth Highland Societv's Meeting u 1850. LORD LORNE has, as a two-year-old, distinguished himself as a Prize Taker, having taken First Prize at Kirkintulloch Show ; third at the Glasgow Agricultural Society's Show; third at the Highland Society's Show at Kelso ; and first at the Deymin Society's Show. LORD LORNE is six years old, in colour a dapple bay, with black points, splendid action, fine bone, good mild temper ; and possessing all the qualifications of a pure-bred Clydesdale.
