By the arrival of tlie s.s. Wanganui from Wellington we have the following gratifying intelligence : On the 6th instant, Colonel Whitmore took Ahikereru pa, killing seven of the tribe, and taking all the women prisoners. The chief prophet of the Uriweras was among the killed.
