THE above reward will be paid to any one, who will give such information as may lead to tho detection of those persons who shot the Pheasant about a fortnight ago, and still continue shooting in the bush belonging to Mr Finnimore and Messrs John and George Walker. April 13. TO SHEEP FARMERS AND OTHERS TENDERS are invited for SEVEN YEARS’ LEASE of Mtddleiiurst Run, Awaiei’e, Province of Marlborough, the property of Messrs Cross and Mowat. The run contains about 40,000 acres (moi’e or less) is well defined by river boundaries and purchased land, and is considered to be as fine a fattening run as any in the Province, has Dipping Tanks, Drafting Yards, etc., complete. With the run there will be let about 6100 Sheep of mixed ages and sexes. The run can be seen at any time and possession given on Ist April, 1869. Conditions of lease with plan of run can be seen at the house of Mr A. Mowat, Awatere, or at the office of Mr James S. Cross, Nelson, by either of whom tenders addressed Messrs Cross and Mowat, in sealed envelopes, and marked “ Tender for Middlehurst Run,” will be received until Ist March, 1869. Jan 28.
