THE Telegraph Commissioner is prepared to receive tenders for the Supply and Delivery of 900 Poles, more or less, for a line of Telegraph between the town of Wanganui and Scott’s, Ran.gitikei. The Poles may be delivered at the following places, and separate tenders for the supply and delivery at each of the tmdermentioned places will be received : 400 at Wanganui, and 450 at “Scott’s,” Rangitikei • or 260 at "Wanganui, 400 at “ Bull’s,” Rangitikei, and 240 at “ Scott’s,” Rangitikei. Tenders for the supply, delivery, and cartage of the whole in one tender will also be received. The first delivery of poles to commence on the Ist day of June, 1869, and the whole to be delivered on or before the 14th ‘day of July, 1869. CARTAGE. Tenders will also be received for the cartage of the above in one tender, or in -the following sections : From Wanganui to a point 22 miles oti the road to Wellington, via Tutaeuui. From “ Scott’s,” Rangitikei to a point 22 miles on the road to Wanganui, via Tutaenui. From Wanganui to Turakina. „ “ Bull’s,” Rangitikei, to Turakina. From “Scott’s,” Rangitikei, to “Bull’s.” For further particulars, apply at the Telegraph Office, Wellington, or Post Office, Wanganui, where specifications of both works can he seen. Tenders for the above, endorsed “ Tenders for the Supply and Delivery,” or “ For the Cartage of Poles,” as the case may be, and addressed to the General Manager, New Zealand Telegraph, Wellington, will be received up the Bth of May, 1869.
