\Vax gA x m February 19. —Wheat 5s 6dto 6s barley 6s, 6d oats 6s, maize 6s per bufhel, flour, £lB per 2000 lbs, potatoes £4 per [ton, bread—4 lb. loaf Is, butter wholesale Is 4d retail la 6d. per lb, bacon, wholesale Sd per lb. Invercargill Jan. 24.—Horse Market—this week barely supplied Heavy draught horses much wanted. We quote aB follows : Heavy draught horses from £BO to £IOO ; inferior, £55 to £75 ; good hacks, from £4O to £SO. We sold a mixed'mob for Messrs Cobb, and Co., which realised satisfactory prices. .

Eat Cattle. —Little or none in market First class beef from 555. to 655. per 100 lbs. Store Cattle. —Not much in demandat present, worth from £ll to £l2. Working Bullocks. —Much wanted, none in the inrrket at present. Would realise from £BO to £IOO per pair. Fat Sheep. —None offering. Good fat wethers worth from 45s to 58s according to ■weight. Station Property inquired for, but very little offering at present.
