Volunteer Cavalry A MEETING will take place, on Tuesday the 2nd June next, at the Rutland Hotel, at 3 o’clock p.m., for the purpose of forming a Volunteer Cavalry Corps;—all those who are desirous of becoming Members will be pleased to attend at the abovementioned time. Those officers and men of the late troop of Cavalry who do not wish to rejoin, are requested to return their arms and accoutrements at once to the Militia Office. A number of medium rifles, revolvers, &c., belonging to the General Government, are still in the hands, of officers of the militia, volunteers, non-commis-sioned officers, and men of the militia.
