CHURCH SERVICES

The Holy Communion will be celebrated in St. Matthew’s Church on New Year’s Day at 9 a.m., and on Sunday at 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., Evensong being at 7 p.m. Archdeacon Rich will be the preacher both morning and evening on Sunday, Captain H. Sutcliffe will conduct a service at Kuripuni at 7 p.m. Services will be conducted at the Baptist Church on Sunday morning and evening by Mr H. W. Milner. At the Methodist Church on Sunday the services will be conducted by the Revs. G. H. Goodman (morning) and C. E. Dickens (evening). Mr Goodman will preach at Wangaehu at 2 p.m. on Sunday and Mr H. McConchie at Kuripuni at 7 p.m. The services in Knox Presbyterian Church on Sunday will be conducted by the Rev D. W. Storkey. The subject in the morning will be “The Glory of the Morning’’ and in the evening “The Curious Doctrine of the Trinity.”
