NAVAL PROMOTIONS
SIR W. WHITWORTH MADE ADMIRAL. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 11 a.m.) RUGBY, December 30. The Admiralty has announced the promotions of Vice-Admiral Sir William Whitworth to admiral, and of Rear-Admirals Frank Henderson Pengram, Louis Henry Keppel Hamilton, and Irvine Gordon Glennie to be viceadmirals. Sir W. Whitworth commanded the Warspite at Narvik.
