REGENT THEATRE
“THREE HEARTS FOR JULIA.” “Three Hearts for Julia,” will be finally shown tonight. “HIT THE ICE.” Patrons will have the pleasure of seeing those irrepressible comedians, Bud Abbott and Lou Costello in “Hit the Ice” tomorrow night. This is a Universal production and the management state that it is a good New Year tonic for all. The inclusion of Ginny Simms, the favourite songstress, is a happy choice. The settings are spectacular and original. For a good laugh plus good entertainment, the management advise patrons to book now for “Hit the Ice.” It is claimed to be even better and brighter than “Buck Privates.” Johnny Long and his orchestra supply the music, and a sight worth seeing is 50 skating beauties. There will also be presented a March of Time, “Bill Jack v.. Adolph Hitler,” in which is seen “Bill Jack” of Scotch ancestry. There will be screenings of the picture on Friday at 7.30 p.m. and 10.15 p.m., on Saturday at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., and on Monday at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.
