REGENT THEATRE
“THE MAJOR AND THE MINOR.” “The Major and the Minor” will be finally shown tonight. “THREE HEARTS FOR JULIA.” Starring Ann Sothern and Melvyn Douglas. “Three Hearts for Julia” is an excellent comedy, and will be shown tomorrow night. When a war correspondent came home the fun commenced. Douglas plays the debonair but puzzled husband, and Ann Sothern leads the “dance in this laugh-packed romance. Patrons should note that the plans are now oocn for the New Year attraction at the Regent Theatre, commencing on Friday night with sessions at 7.30 o’clock and 10.15 o’clock. On Saturday pictures will be shown al 2 p.m. and 8 pm, and on Monday next at the same hours. The feature is a New Year scream —Bud Abbot and Lou Costello in "Hit (he Ice.” There will also be screened a “March of lime Bill, Jack and Adolph Hitler/’
