Mr A. G. Holms, a former resident of Featherston, who was invadided home from the Middle East after service with the First Echelon of the N.Z.E.F., has been appointed as the R.S.A. member of the Waipukurau and District Rehabilitation Committee. Mr J. H. Claridge, founder of the “Eketahuna Express” over 40 years ago, and Avho was responsible for establishing the “Waipukurau Press” in 1905, as well as other newspapers, is now a resident of Glen Eden, Auckland. He is in his 82nd year, and enjoying fairly good health.
