GERMAN VICE-ADMIRAL. ORDERED FLEET SCUTTLING AT SCAPA FLOW. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.50 pan.) LONDON, December 21. The German news agency has announced the death of Vice-Admiral Ludwig Von Reuter, at the age of 75. He ordered the scuttling of the German fleet at Scapa Flow in 1919. Von Reuter claimed that in ordering the scuttling he only carried out the Kaiser’s order, given in 1914, that no ship in any circumstances should fall into enemy hands.
