GRASS FIRE
ALONG LENGTH OF RAILWAY LINE. BRIGADE CALLED OUT. After the passing of the MastertonWellington train about 2.20 o’clock this afternoon a fire broke out in the grass along the railway line from south of Renall Street to Essex Street Extension. The brigade quickly had lengths of hose out and were dealing with the outbreak as the “Times-Age” went to press.
