TAXI-DRIVERS' AWARD
WORKING HOURS REDUCED. MINIMUM WAGE OF £5 A WEEK. (Bv Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The New Zealand Taxi-Drivers’ Award, issued by the Arbitration Court, reduces the weekly hours from 60 to 50, with a minimum wage of £5, except m specific cases, and rates of remuneration have been increased in accordance with the Court’s first general order of August 9, 1940.
