IMPERIAL CONFERENCE

MEETING EARLY NEXT YEAR ANTICIPATED. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) NEW YORK, December 19. > Though no date has been set, it is confidently expected that the conference of Dominion Prime Ministers will be held in London in the spring of 1944, to discuss problems which the war created for the Empire and the '

world pattern that seems forming after the war, says the “New York Times” Ottawa correspondent. He mentioned that only the British Government participated in the recent conferences at Cairo and Teheran. The Dominion Governments were kept fully informed, but as a next step it is clearly necessary for the members of the Commonwealth to meet and discuss individual mutual problems and exchange views regarding the future.
