INFLUENZA DEATHS
HIGH WEEKLY TOTAL IN BRITAIN. BUT EPIDEMIC SHOWING SIGNS OF DECLINING. (By Telegraph—Press Association—copyright) LONDON, December 18. Deaths from influenza in Britain for the week ended December 11 were 1148, the highest weekly total for the present epidemic. It is officially stated, however, that the epidemic is showing signs of declining.
